Seward Park: Cooper Square's Findings and Planning Recommendations Print

The Cooper Square Committee has prepared an analysis of the Seward Park Urban Redevelopment Area (SPURA), including the racial and economic demographics of the surrounding community, housing indicators, local school enrollment, day care providers, amount of open space and other useful information.  We also looked at the zoning of the 10 SPURA sites to assess how much housing and commercial development they can accommodate, and we recommended zoning changes to allow for development of a sustainable mixed-income community on the sites.  We hope you will read it, and we welcome your feedback.
