ROBERT PINTER
v.
THE CITY OF NEW YORK, NEW YORK CITY UNDERCOVER POLICE
OFFICER #31107, NYC POLICE COMMISSIONER RAYMOND KELLY,
NYC MAYOR MICHAEL BLOOMBERG, ET AL.
On appeal by the City of New York.
_____________________________________________________________________
Cooper Square Committee member Robert Pinter will be in Court on Wednesday, August 24th at 11 am for his lawsuit against the City of New York, and would appreciate community support in the Court room.
Here's the status of his case: The City of New York has filed an appeal seeking to eviscerate the case. Oral arguments on the appeal have been scheduled.

These hearings are usually perfunctory, with only the judge, court clerks and attorneys present. When the court room suddenly fills, it will send the message that we stand up to the homophobic and transphobic policies and practices of the City of New York and the NYPD.  We demand meaningful reform that is respectful of the US Constitution and the LGBTQ community and brings honor to the profession of law enforcement.
Wednesday August 24, 2011, 11AM
Robert's case is the third of three cases scheduled at 11AM. The hearing should last approximately one-half hour. Please allow time for security.
